The Colorado Music Hall of Fame hosted a concert for the induction of rock ‘n’ roll legends Joe Walsh and the late Dan Fogelberg, along with the honoring of the famed Caribou Ranch recording studio near Nederland, Colorado, where Walsh and Fogelberg both recorded some of their best work. The concert, dubbed “The Rocky Mountain Way,” took place on Sunday, August 13, 2017, at Fiddler’s Green. It featured performances from an all-star list of musicians including The Lumineers, Garth Brooks, Amy Grant & Vince Gill, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Richie Furay, Randy Owen of Alabama, Todd Park Mohr, Michael Martin Murphey, and surprise guests paying tribute to Dan Fogelberg and Caribou Ranch.
